Dragon's Delight
by Rusticdragon20

Chapter One

The cold breeze of the night sky was upon him. He knew he was in danger. This was dragon territory. With nothing but the stars to guide him, ilbv continued his trek along the dense jungle path. Foliage constantly brushed against his body, making him itch. 'I have to get to a wider path.' He thought. 'All this noise is sure to attract some sort of attention.'
For the human, the last thing he wanted was attention. He wanted to remain silent and hidden from view from anything that might consider him a snack. As much as he might want to find a dragon, he did not want to meet the insides of one.
ilbv followed the pathway for a few more miles until he reached a divide. To his left was a path covered in bushes and assorted plants. To his right was a wide path, yet a claw mark of a dragon was embedded into the dirt near his feet.
"Oh boy. What path should I take? The one to the left will just attract attention, yet I might get eaten if I take the path to the right…"
The human sat still for a moment before he heard a deafening roar emerge from behind him. Thinking quickly, he jumped behind a row of bushes and peered out onto the path. A few seconds later a tall black dragon landed a few feet from him.
"Come out, come out wherever you are! I smell you, human. That delightful aroma of human flesh drives me wild. Are you hiding? Don't worry… I just want to play!"
ilbv remained silent, not wanting to alert the dragon to his presence. The dragon started sniffing around the row of bushes in front of him, steadily approaching the human.
"Dang it! I lost him. I hate my nose sometimes. Oh well… There's always tomorrow. Consider yourself lucky human. You get to be free for one more night!"
ilbv breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the dragon fly off and out of sight. Once he was sure it was safe, he stepped from the bushes and pondered again over which pathway was the best to take.
"If all that noise attracted that one dragon, I should probably take this path…"
ilbv started down the path to his right, unsure if he was placing himself in danger, or removing himself from it.
ilbv let out a yawn as the night grew long. He knew that it was probably best to set up camp. He searched for a tree big enough to support him and decided to climb up toward the middle of the tree, resting himself on a thick branch. To him, being up in the air was safer than the ground. He knew that most of the preds in the area lived on the ground and would not follow him up a tree. He heard yet another dull roar as he started to drift off to sleep. ilbv hoped that he was just imagining things. The last thing he wanted to do was wake up inside the belly of a dragon…

Chapter Two

The warming rays of the rising sun woke ilbv. He sat up and peered around his surroundings. Small creatures were scampering around below him as he looked down.
"Time to get going, I guess."
He climbed down the tree and began his long trek yet again. He knew if he was to get back home, he had to keep moving. Dew dampened the ground, causing his feet to sink slightly with each step. With his shoes covered in mud, ilbv started an uphill trek. He stumbled slightly as he turned around a turn in the path. As he looked back, he spotted several claw marks in the dirt.
"Oh boy… This cannot be good. Those look like they belong to something big. I better keep a lookout."
He noticed some clouds in the distance yet decided to ignore them. However, the sky began to darken the closer they got to him. Rain started to fall as ilbv started heading downhill, making his descent even more slippery. His right foot slipped, causing him to fall. Due to the steep path, ilbv slid a few feet down the hill and stopped as he splashed into a pile of mud.
"Great! Just great! That's really what I wanted. To be lost in the rain AND be covered with mud. I hate nature sometimes…"
He was quick to wipe the mud off and resume his trek. Rain continued to fall as ilbv noticed a few glowing torches several yards in the distance. When he approached one of them, he heard an arrow fly by his head, missing him by mere inches.
"What the… whose there?"
Although he got no response, the human continued looking around for any signs of life. As another arrow flew by him, ilbv shouted loudly
"All right! Someone is out there. Show yourself before you kill me!"
"My apologies, sir." said a voice that didn't sound quite human.
ilbv turned around and found himself face to face with a red colored dragon with a light gray belly. His wings were folded against his sides but ilbv could tell they were huge. His claws matched the dirt and were dark brown.
"Ga… ga… you… you're a dr…dragon!" ilbv stammered. He froze with fear.
"Well what gave that one away, Einstein? The sharp claws? The wings?" the dragon asked rolling it's eyes.
ilbv was in such a state of shock that he found it impossible to move. Laughing, the dragon walked around to his backside and poked him.
"Are you okay, human?"
"I am talking to a dragon…no, I am not okay! I don't want to be eaten."
"Eaten? Now what ever gave you that cra… oh. Let me guess. My brother?" the dragon said, sitting down on his haunches.
ilbv looked at the dragon incredulous, "Brother? You mean that big scary dragon that was trying to hunt me is your brother?"
"Of course. He tends to eat humans and other large creatures, although you humans are his favorite. Now if you'll follow me, I'll get you out of this rain and into safety." the dragon got to his feet and began to walk away. ilbv was a little nervous.
"Wait. How do I know I can trust you?"
"Well, I guess there's only one way for you to find out…" the dragon said mysteriously.

Chapter Three

ilbv followed the dragon for a long while, wondering where he was being led. Every second that passed by he wanted to take off running in the other direction but he knew that the dragon would just catch up with him. The dragon stopped in front of a large cavern and pointed inside.
"There you go. Now get inside and out of the rain."
Reluctantly, ilbv headed inside with the dragon close behind. He turned around as the dragon snorted at him. He then looked around and started to take note of what was inside the cavern. A small pile of bones were to his right but none appeared to be human. Behind him was a large flat piece of rock with a few smaller rocks spaced all around it.
"That is my bed, human. As long as you're here, you'll sleep there too."
"I really just want to get out of the rain, thank you. I don't want to sleep here." ilbv said a little nervously.
"Come on. I won't bite. Unless you want me to, that is…" the dragon said slyly. It made ilbv uncomfortable.
The dragon opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue, causing ilbv to call out for help. The dragon gave the human a small lick on the face but quickly reared back.
"Yuck… I don't see what my brother loves about you humans. Your taste is absolutely horrible. That's why I've only eaten one of you before."
"One?? Oh that REALLY relaxes me." ilbv said, wiping at his face. It was stupid to have followed this dragon, he could just be putting on an a act.
"Hey! It's not my fault. The idiot asked to be eaten. He wanted it. So, with a quick gulp he ended up inside me." the dragon said defensively.
"Did you….digest him??" ilbv asked nervously.
"He he… I'll leave that up to you to decide. Now make yourself comfortable. The rain is not going away anytime soon." the dragon said as he spun around in his bed and lay down to relax.
ilbv found a rock near the front of the cave and sat down. He constantly looked behind him, fearing the dragon might make a move at any minute. The rain continued to fall heavily as the day progressed. Another look back and ilbv noticed that the dragon was now standing up and walking toward him. ilbv tensed as the dragon broke into a sprint,  the dragon then ran outside and flew away.
"That was close…" ilbv said sighing.
In the distance he heard a screech followed by silence. Mere minutes after the dragon left, he walked back into the cavern holding a horse in his mouth. He tore off a small piece and let a small flame loose. He then handed the piece to ilbv insisting that he take it.
"Eww… that's gross!" ilbv said as he smelled it.
"Are you kidding? Seriously? These creatures are tasty!" the dragon said licking his lips.
"No. Just…. No. You have it." ilbv insisted.
"You need to eat, human." the dragon said, holding the meat closer to ilbv.
"Yes, but not that!"
"Fine. I'll eat it then." the dragon snorted.
ilbv watched as the dragon grabbed hold of the horse and dangled it above his mouth. He turned away as the dragon lowered the horse toward him. He heard the sounds of the dragon eating but did not turn back around to look. The dragon let out a loud belch as he finished.
"Ahh… now that was a good meal. Too bad you missed out. Now I have been wondering something about you, human. What do they call you?"
"My name? My name is ilbv. What's yours?"
"My name? Oh, you'll think it's silly…"
"No I won't. If you are forcing me to stay here, I'd like to know. Try me."
"No. I'll let you know soon enough, just not now. How would you like to go out for a nice flight?" the dragon asked kindly.
"Are you gonna take me out of here to eat me?" ilbv asked cautiously.
"Don't you think if I REALLY wanted to eat you by now, I would have? No. I will never eat you, ilbv. I'll keep you safe."
Safe. That was a good word. ilbv decided to go along for a ride and took a seat on the dragons back. He was instructed to hang on tight as he started to fly. Now above the tree line, ilbv looked around in amazement. He could see for miles around. In the distance appeared to be a mountain, with snow decorating the top.
"I have a special spot for you, ilbv. It's my secret spot. Not even my brother knows about this place. Want to go?"
"Sure. Where is this place?"
"See that mountain? There's a lake about five miles away that is surrounded by trees. From overhead it appears to be nothing but a pond." the dragon said.
The dragon remained silent for the remainder of the flight. ilbv noticed a smile creep across the face of the dragon as they started to land, along with what he thought was a soft laugh.
"Go get yourself a drink of water. You look like you're thirsty."
ilbv walked toward the lake and took a mouthful of water. As he went for another, he saw the shadow of the dragon being cast directly over him. ilbv quickly turned around to find himself face to face with the dragon, which now had his mouth open.
"Guess where you're going, ilbv?" he asked menacingly.
Without waiting for a response the dragon lunged forward, completely encasing ilbv in his maw.
"Say goodbye, human!"

Chapter Four

Now encased in complete darkness, ilbv tried to kick and hit his way to freedom but nothing was working. Try as he might the dragon's mouth remained shut. He was scared the dragon would swallow.
"Let me out! Your breath is horrid!" he shouted. ilbv as more mad than scared.
ilbv felt the dragon walking but had no idea in what direction he was heading. He stopped struggling as his strength decreased, finally submitting to the fact that he was not getting out anytime soon. The dragon spoke to ilbv through his throat so he could still keep his mouth tightly shut.
"Not to worry, ilbv. I'm just keeping you safe. I want you to know that you can trust me. Even with you inside my mouth, I will not eat you." the dragon said.
"You could, though. One wrong move and I'm going down your throat!"
"Sure. I could easily swallow you and force you to squirm around inside my belly for my own pleasure, but I won't."
"What about my taste? I thought you said you hated the way humans taste."
"Believe me. If I could spit you out right now I would. I don't like this at all, but I want to keep you safe until we arrive."
"Arrive? I thought we were already there."
"Almost…"
The dragon opened his mouth a little to allow ilbv to see the outside world. He gasped as they approached the edge of a cliff. The dragon then lowered his maw to the ground and allowed ilbv to step out. Much to his surprise, only a few spots on his clothes had dragon saliva on them.
"See? I told you I would keep you safe." the dragon said.
"And what exactly are you keeping me safe from?" ilbv asked annoyed, wiping at the drool.
From the rear, the dragon and ilbv heard the loud roar of a large dragon. A monstrous thud shook the ground as the dragon landed and stared at the duo. ilbv looked at the new dragon and realized that it was the same dragon that tried hunting him just a few days ago.
"Well well well… what have we got here? A tasty little human. Why, you look so weak and delicious. Mmm.. You're making my mouth water just thinking about eating you". Then the dragon turned to the other one. "Good work bringing this human to me, little brother. Your salary is well earned this week!"
ilbv dropped his jaw. "Little brother?? You betrayed me! You said that you would keep me safe! You liar!" ilbv shouted, tears almost filled his eyes.
The dragon that betrayed him didn't say anything or even look sorry. He was expressionless and was acting as if ilbv wasn't even there.
"You actually believed him? You humans might be the most appetizing things ever, but you're not that smart. Being tricked by a dragon? That's how I get every human meal of mine; my wonderful brother brings them to me. He pretends to be nice to them and them blamo! They are my lunch! Now why don't you go inside my cavern like a good little boy… I'll be in shortly."
Seeing no possible way out of the situation, ilbv walked inside where he was shocked at the sight: a large pile of items belonging to people. Surrounding the pile were seven small cages, each one holding a different animal, with the one in the middle being empty.
"Go on. Get in there." the big black dragon said menacingly.
ilbv tried to run back outside and escape, but the dragon lashed his tail around him and forced him back into the cage, locking it up tight.
"You see these animals here, human? I eat one of them every day of the week. Tuesday is horse day. Friday is giraffe day and can you guess what Wednesday is?"
"Hu… human day?"
"Exactly! Luckily for you, today is Sunday, so you have a few more days to think about going inside my belly." the dragon said licking his lips. His tongue was so big and hypnotic.
"Can I at least know the name of my predator??" ilbv asked sarcastically.
"Of course. My name is Kyngja. That means human eater in your language. Don't you just love that name? I gave that to myself after eating my first human many years ago. I still have his possessions around here. Now why don't you just shut up and relax my little morsel? Your tasty hide will be gliding down my hot, wet throat soon enough."
"Brother!" the smaller red dragon shouted. "I forgot to mention something.  You should probably know that today is Tuesday, not Sunday. Human day is tomorrow."
"Oh! That's right. It is Tuesday, isn't it? Well, it looks like little mister human will be having a meeting with my insides sooner than he expected. Excellent!"
ilbv rolled his eyes in discust. It wasn't so much that he had been betrayed, but now his former dragon friend was selling him out even more so.
As the dragons turned to leave, he could see the black skin of the larger one glisten in the sunlight. His tail was nearly twice as long as his brothers, and his legs were thick and muscular.
"Great! Just great. I knew I shouldn't have trusted that dragon. Now I'm gonna die! I just know it."
ilbv found it hard to see as the sun started to set, closing the cave in darkness. Before all of the light was gone, Kyngja returned and stopped mere inches from his cage. He opened his mouth and pressed it against the bars.
"Take a good look, human. You'll be going in there in less than a day. I can already hear my stomach crying out for you and your delicious body. Mmmm… this might just be my best meal yet."
ilbv huddled in the bottom of the cage as if to escape. "Leave me alone! I don't want to be eaten." he cried. ilbv was terrified of this dragon, he was simply massive and he could have swallowed him cage and all if he really wanted to.
"Oh shut up!" Kyngja shouted as he hit the cage with his claw. "You'll get eaten and like it! Besides, you don't really have a choice in the matter. I am bigger than you. You are my prey. Now if you behave, I promise you to eat you slowly. It'll be so much fun! See you tomorrow…"
With those final condemning words, the sun set and ilbv was left alone in darkness.

Chapter Five

The dragon woke early, causing ilbv to stir as well. He sat up and looked out from his cage. Kyngja was starting to approach him and had a big smile on his face. He knew what was about to happen. ilbv cowered in fear as the door to the cage was unlocked and Kyngja reached in for his human treat.
"Oh this is going to be so much fun!" Kyngja said happily.
"No it won't! Let me go." ilbv was struggling as if he could change the dragon's mind.
"Give me one good reason why I should let you go, my little morsel."
"Because I wouldn't go down good. My taste is horrible. Just ask your brother." ilbv reasoned.
"Eh… not good enough. I love the taste of human flesh. The feeling of them squirming as they slide down my gullet is so much fun. The belly rubs from the inside are out of this world! Now are you going to be a good little boy and be eaten peacefully?"
"No!"
ilbv managed to squirm around enough to free himself. However, he quickly found that he had nowhere to go. Irritated, Kyngja pushed him to the ground.
"What's the matter? Gonna go home and cry to mommy? Oh boo hoo hoo. The mean wittle dwaggie is scary! Ha ha! Stand up, puny human…"
Just as ilbv stood up, he found himself being pushed down again.
"Quit it!" he shouted. His heart was thumping in his throat. ilbv had never been so scared.
"Why? This is so much fun! Oh, I know what to do!"
The dragon then reached around with his tail and gave the human a few pokes in the chest, causing him to scream.
"Will you stop that? Are you going to eat me or not?" ilbv moaned as he rubbed his sore chest.
"Oh I will, but I like to play with my food first. Have a little bit of fun."
After more torture and "playing" Kygja said, "Time for you go get a first-hand view of my insides. Do me a favor… make sure to squirm a lot on the way down. It feels so good."
ilbv jumped over a claw as it came to grab him and managed to duck out of the way of another. He tried running toward the exit to the cavern but his escape came to a sudden stop when Kyngja swung his tail around and pushed him backward. ilbv turned around to see the mouth of the dragon wide open, anxious to take in his body. The dragon pushed ilbv forward with his tail, causing him to stumble and fall onto his waiting tongue.
"Ready? Here we go!"Kygja said excitedly.
Kyngja gently latched onto his head, holding him in place. ilbv placed his hands onto the dragon's snout and tried to push himself free but to no avail. With the help of his tongue, Kyngja pulled his human prey further inside. ilbv began to struggle intensely as his shoulders entered the dragon's maw. He tried giving one more push but his hands slipped off of the dragon's lips and inside the mouth where they were quickly held in place. He could finally feel around the mouth of the dragon. The smoothness of his tongue amazed ilbv for a second before his struggles returned.
"Ooohh… do that again! That tongue rub was great." Kygja said as if he didn't care in the world that ilbv was scared and terrified.
"No! Let me go. Why should I help you out if you're eating me?" ilbv shouted.
"To make it fun for both of us. Now are you gonna do it or not?"
"No!"
"Fine. Be that way, then." It didn't matter to Kygja one way or the other, ilbv was going in his belly anyway.
Kyngja forced the hands of his human treat into his gullet where his throat muscles latched on and did not let go. ilbv kicked wildly as he felt the dragon tilt his head upward slightly. Kyngja swallowed, sending the elbows of his human downward. ilbv moved around as Kyngja's tongue drenched him in saliva.
"Mmm…. Tasty human… oh you're gonna fill me up nicely!"
With another gulp, Kyngja managed to get the chest of the human forced into his gullet. He took a look downward and noticed a bulge was forming in his neck from ilbv's presence. Much to his surprise, ilbv could still breathe. Even as his head was being forced downward, he could somehow breathe what air there was.  Kyngja heard his belly grumble, and gave it a good pat.
"You hear that, ilbv? It's my stomach. It's calling out for you! It wants you inside. Let's make it happy, shall we?"
The dragon lifted his head back even further and swallowed again, sending most of his chest down the slippery confines of his gullet. ilbv could feel his feet dangling just outside of the dragon's maw. He gave one more good kick, hoping that for some reason the dragon might let him go. Seeing that there was no hope for escape, ilbv ceased his struggles.
"Giving up so soon? But why?" Kygja asked sadly with an element of sarcasm.
"Why bother? I'm tired, I'm wet and half my body has been swallowed. There's no point! Just eat me and get it over with…" ilbv moaned.
"As you wish, ilbv."
Kyngja closed his mouth as ilbv's feet slipped inside and over his teeth. He laughed as the neck bulge grew, knowing that the human treat was all his. He laid down onto his back and decided to finish off his human. With one more swallow, Kyngja let the rest of ilbv's body slip into his gullet. ilbv felt the powerful throat muscles of the dragon start to pull him downward toward the belly of the beast.
Shortly, he felt his head poke through the opening to the stomach. His chest and legs were soon to follow and ilbv fell into the tight confines of the dragon's stomach with a small plop. He squirmed around, trying to make himself as comfortable as possible.
"Ahh yes! That hit the spot. Thank you, human. Not only were you tasty, you fill me up quite nicely." Kyngja let out a small belch, excusing himself in the process all the while rubbing his distended gut. "I wish you could see the lovely bulge you make inside me. It's so beautiful! Well, I guess it's about that time. Time to sleep. After all, a meal like that will wear a dragon out."
From inside his belly, Kyngja heard ilbv talking.
"What? Did you say something?" he asked casually.
"Let me out… It's hot in here." ilbv whined.
Kygja laughed and rubbed his belly. "Well of course it is. You're in my stomach after all."
"How will I eat? How will I use the bathroom? What about water?"
"I think those things should be the least of your worries. Just wait until the digestive juices kick in."
"Di… digestive ju… juices??" ilbv asked nervously.
"Ha! I'm not going to do that to you. You fill me up too nicely for me to digest you and there is just something different about you, you're not like the others. No, I'll save that for another meal."
ilbv could feel Kyngja stand up and start to move around the cavern. From inside, he could hear the dragon talking to his brother.
"I have to admit that he does look quite good inside of you, brother."
"Why thank you. He is one of the best meals I have ever had. He squirms around so nicely! Now go and find me another human. This time, I'll double the payment if you find me a human even better tasting than this one."
As his brother left, Kyngja wandered back inside. He slowly sank to the ground and laid on his side, giving his belly a good rub.
"Kyngja… are you ever going to let me out of here?" ilbv asked worriedly.
Kyngja thought about this. "Hmm…. Well, maybe one day I will. For now, enjoy your stay in my gut. Good night, lunch."
ilbv punched at the stomach wall. "My name is ilbv."
Kyngja just laughed and rubbed ilbv's form until he drifted off.

THE END
ilbv tries to avoid being captured by a hungry dragon, only to bump into one that hates the taste of humans.
